School Starts January 2012

Farao Community School makes a start.  Children are being registered and 45 children are being taught at the moment.  Teaching is currently being done by Mrs Pamela Farao and John Pharao, and we are hoping that soon a government teacher will be sent to assist.

Good progress being made on the first teacher's house.  Now only the interior has to be plastered and fitted with furniture fittings.  Toilet blocks also nearing completion.

Work is moving forward in Farao and we are getting closer to finally completing the project.  Nevertheless, we still desperately need financial support in order to finish.  Chairwoman, Claire Taylor and Wolfgang Voegele are traveling to village in August for three and a half weeks in order to help with construction, as well as teach English to children and women in the area.

Our next stage of completion is underway and the foundations for our three teachers' houses is being laid.  We require an additional €24.000 to complete the project, so please help us in our endevours.  We have almost reached our target, and with your help, we can achieve this soon!
